No, it's BBC 3/CBBC on the existing (PSB 3) mux (replacing BBC i HD Red
Button on 303), and BBC 4/CBeebies and News (24) on the new one (Mux 7)

All that is known so far is that Mux 7 will contain:-

BBC 4/Cbeebies HD
BBC News HD
Al Jazz HD

Nothing yet for Mux 8, but this initiate was a joint venture
between Arqiva, the BBC and C4, so it's a safe bet to say something
like HD versions of M4, E4, Film 4 etc will be coming ?

As far launch dates, the only dates available seem to be
obtained by looking at the 'Retune' date after sticking
in your postcode, house number, and ticking the 'Detailed View'
box here

Then also if you hover over the UHF allocations, you can see QAM and ERP

40 years ago you could just pick up phone to BBC and IBA EIDs, and
be told whatever you needed to know, amazing that in 2013 you need to

Yes, Dec 10th seems to be date that other Tx sites launch:-

Significantly, they seem to indicate representation in each UK nation,
and of course Emley and Sutton C are the other two of the UK's big four
(C Palace and Winter Hill are already running)

Rising speculation that Dec 10th will be the official launch date for
the new BBC HD channels on DTT and D-Sat


ERP for COM7 Sutton is confusing. Most websites say it will be a very weak
6,400 Watts ERP which is 14.9dB down and then of course it is out of band
for my group B aerial, looks dodgy. However, the Digital UK site says
81,300 Watts ERP which is just -4dB and much more possible for me I would
have thought. I'd like to get that confirmed.

Join the club !! That's the only place these 'enhanced' ERPs have been
published, but no where else have they been confirmed. I'm a bit
suspicious, because all the values are rather 'overaccurate' Why not
just say 80kW ? There's a possibilty someone has calulated them from out
of date log tables, and an uncalibrtaed slide rule :-)

Yes, though on DTT it's on the new Mux 7, only going to be available
from 30 sites, not the other 1124 that carry the main HD mux. Belmont
and CP have also launched Mux 7 today, Black Hill was supposed to too ?

But you were saying it would be better to put BBC Four on PSB3 rather
than BBC Three and I was counter-proposing that BBC News Channel
should be on PSB3.
