It seems that the benefits of global warming,
should it start again, will outweigh the disadvantages,
at least for the next fifty years. Not that I believe anyone can know
what the
climate's going to do in the next fifty years. They can't even get it
right for a ten year period, it now seems.

The climate obviously suits the vegetation in that area. Change the
temperature and the vegetation would be different too. A prime example
would be heather.

Yes! I have never been to Fort William when it wasn't raining!
We went to Oban and had to go home after three days as we had no dry
clothes.
The nearby island of Kerrera was invisible apart for about forty five
minutes.
