The ch4 movie channel, why, surely with film length stuff, it should be plus

I'd imagine they are fine on a small screen though.
I personally would welcome af film channel on dab with an AD track and
thus no picture. One company does do vintage sound tracks on CDs with audio
description, but they are so old....

Why don't you PVR the earlier version? You can start watching an hour
later and zap through the adverts.

Why don't you PVR the earlier version? You can start watching an hour
later and zap through the adverts.


Perhaps the PVR is already fully occupied.

Normal use of my PVR involves recording stuff to watch later, about
half of which is deleted unwatched every month or so.

Yes. PVRs are very useful servants. They will watch programmes that
their owners feel should be watched but can't be bothered to watch
themselves.
