I used to be able to watch the scores ticking up ball by ball with the
bowlers' and batsmen's contributions as they happened. Now I can't find
where it was. I can get RCh4x, but it's not the same. Has it all been
changed?

I meant to add that I've tried the red button and that's not what I
remember either.

I think that used to be on the red button, but only when the BBC didn't
need that for anything else. Now that they only have one channel
available for red button stuff (channel 301 IIRC) when they used to have
two, it probably won't be available very often.

That "scoreboard" used to be on Red Button Ch301. The sound was from
Radio 5 live sports extra.

I noticed last night I've grown a bbc rb on channel 800 over the last few
days. Nothing whatever on the sound.

Since most of sport is now seen as a cash cow, I'd imagine its on a
subscription channel somewhere.

They currently have three if you count the HD version
http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/info/...freeview.shtml

The second SD channel (302) was reintroduced for Glastonbury and was
also used extensively during Wimbledon, it is currently inactive but
hopefully it will spring back to life for the Proms, I quite like

Yes. Sky Sports is showing the current test cricket series.

The BBC is broadcasting its own commentary on radio and supplying live
scores on a webpage.

Peter is correct.
I think occasional still pics were interjected too.
As I recall, Sky objected, on the grounds that they had the rights,
and this service was going too far to providing an alternative
coverage.
