There is also BBC Red Button HD. It in the EPG at Ch980.

BBC Red Button - Summer 2013

This summer the BBC will be launching a number of pop-up streams to
offer additional coverage of live sport and music events, including
in HD.
....
BBC Red Button HD is now available to anyone with an HD receiver

How do you record the Red Button streams?

By setting a recording using their EPG allocations at 9xx, have a read
of the webpage quoted two messages up thread.

How do you record the Red Button streams?

That depends which Red Button streams you want to record.

A few of them are in the Freesat EPG: Channels 981, 982 and 983 (and HD
at 980). I think those can be recorded in the same way as anything else
in the EPG.

There are more RB streams that are not in the EPG. I'm not at all sure
that those are recordable. (I haven't experimented for a few years.)

I should have done that before asking.

Which Freesat channel do I find this at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet/...ton-June-15-22
"Rick Stein's India

Roughly 40 per cent of the population of India are vegetarian. With
the amazing enthusiasm that everyone has for food, you quickly realise
you could spend the rest of your life never eating meat and still be
happy! The potential list of vegetable curries is endless and what’s
more, they can be cooked in no time at all. Rick cooks dry fried okra
with garlic, cumin and garam masala.

Available on Freesat/Sky/Virgin Media/Freeview

Mon 17 June, 9:55pm-4:00am
Tue 18 June, 4:25pm-5:10pm
Thu 20 June, 4:25pm-5:10pm"

Tue 18 June, 4:25pm-5:10pm (16:25-17:10)
Thu 20 June, 4:25pm-5:10pm (16:25-17:10)

The EPG says that both are on Ch981.

Since it's not on now, it's either
981 - BBC RB 1 or
982 - BBC RB 2 or
983 - BBC RB 3

The other one is,
980 - BBC RBHD

Curried red pepper
Curried green pepper
Curried orange pepper
Curried yellow pepper
Curried cauliflower
Curried mange tout
Curried sugar snap peas
Curried green beans

Any combination of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Thousands I should think.

I successfully recorded a programme on Ch981, Red Button 1, this
afternoon using the EPG in the normal way.
