Ch 4 attempting to cover Yahoo hack
 

With so much dumbing down it was pretty pointless bothering.
The first time this started to occur was before Christmas, probably a dry
run.
the latest one is much bigger but in the piece on their news last night
they completely failed to point out that the affected people were not just
Yahoo customers, as it was the intention to use the address books and linked
names of the hacked online accounts to get people in that address book to
go to sites where infected code could be used to c ompromise people no
matter who they had email with, as the trojan code was a key logger.

That last part seemed to completely elude them.
Now they did point out about the code on the web site, but kept on
referring toyahoo accounts, many would never have linked the two issues of
the address book contents and the trojan.

Brian, I find that almost every time I know about a subject covered by some
organisations I notice inaccuracies. From which I am inclined to believe
that subjects I do not know about are covered by them inaccurately too!

anything I know owt about it's wrong. So I'm guessing the other stuff
must be wrong too.

It's the same with the newspapers. Whenever there's an article about
anything I know owt about it's wrong. So I'm guessing the other stuff must
be wrong too.

I think that Bill is just about the only reliable source of information
nowadays. And "Which?" is as bad as the papers. If they recommend something
it is because someone has paid them to do so. (Allegedly, of course).

Alleged by whom? Their reviews are often disappointing, but I've never
heard before that they are corrupt.

I think we Bills are special. Coupled with the fact that the Wright clan
is notoriously extrovert, outspoken, and generally gobby, I don't see
what I can do to rescue myself.

One branch of the family is very left wing/green and when they meet up
with the rest of us the fat's really in the fire.

I think I need a total immersion course in peace, quiet, tranquillity. I
need to be somewhere where the spiritual side of life is all important.
For this reason I intend to apply for the job of night porter at a
convent near here. Many of the nuns are young and pretty and thus are in
need of protection.

If you have ever been interviewed by a reporter you will know why.

Exactly. I have been interviewed a small number of times and, in all
bar one, they printed something entirely different.
