Some thoughts about GOD TV programming.
If you look at on Freeview you get the UK stream.
If you look at it via the internet you'll see that there are USA,UK,ASIA,OZ and lots more steams, all running in parallel.
The odd thing is that the material, videos of events & lectures, is rotated around the various streams. So yesterday's UK programmes are tomorrow's USA features.

More interesting is that they have material from very creepy "preachers" who have been utterly discredited elsewhere. Very oddly, they have a common theme of support for Israel even to the point of supporting efforts by the Israeli authorities in their plans to evict Arabs so as to plant forests! They appear to have studios in Jerusalem.

In summary I think it reasonable to assume that this is a money machine which streams religious videos on the basis of their dramatic quality often with conflicting messages so as to attract the attention of the weak minded, then beg for money.

And the Israeli angle: Is this a front organisation that is directing money into Israel, with the support of the Israeli authorities? If so, it's probably not very legal in the UK.

My OP was sent to get a clarification as to what part of Ofcom I should direct a complaint, especially about their political role in evicting Bedouin villages.

you'd need to know where in europe it's streamed from - if it's legal in
that country, ofcom can't really do anything.

It seems to be streaming from Israel.
That says two things:

1. It's harder to stop in UK & elsewhere, &
2. Who are the real beneficiaries?

BUT, does its route via Freeview give Ofcom a reason to look?

Maybe they are 'Christian Zionists' who believe that the return of the Jews
to Palestine is a prerequisite of the second coming of Christ, and all the
Jews must convert to Christianity.

If so, then someone could pay for a Freeview channel and then switch to the net and broadcast anything?

Why can't Ofcom stop this abuse?

to do with Freeview. Think of it as a bit like a link on a web page,

somewhere else. The material to which it directs you is not the
responsibility of any of our broadcasters just because you watch it on
the same screen.
