Recording radio
Does anyone make a PVR that can be used for radio (FM or DAB)? I used to
use a TV PVR but Radio 3 is no longer broadcast on DTT in Scotland in the evenings. Obviously I could uses a tuner and a tape recorder (I have all kinds) but I like the EPG one-touch facility the PVR offers. |

If you obtain one of the PVRs that has a built in DVD recorder, you will probably find that it also has several inputs for external sources. There's nothing to stop you feeding audio on its own to one of them. Rod. -- |

This isn't quite what you are asking about, and it wasn't what I was asking about when it was brought to my attention, but if you like recording radio this is the most amazing bit of software. http://www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/ |

I've simply been recording the streamed audio 'manually' using Audacity. I used to get stuff manually too, but using Total Recorder, but I haven't since I found this. You can either get programmes individually or you can "subscribe" to your favourite programmes and they just appear like magic as soon as they become available. It will also get podcasts. |
