Philips 37PFL7605H/05 playing AVI from USB
When viewing the normal television channels my tv is fine - full
picture. However, when I plug in an external drive through the USB port to view AVI files the screen looses the "widescreen" and the picture is "elongated". I get 2 x black margins on each side of the picture. In the setup menus I cannot see where there is any different picture setting for tv channels or external files. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks, Ned. |

Thanks, Ned. Can you not just change the current Picture setting? You would have to do it each time you plug in the USB drive, but it would be better than nothing. My Samsung requires that, the Toshiba seems to know exactly what is best all the time, but I can change it at will. -- Davey. |
