BBC DSAT Transponder Closure & Service moves
Just in case you have not already spotted this.
The BBC are planning to vacate one of their DSAT transponders which will require a few service moves. While this should not be a problem for Sky & Freesat users it may cause issues for anyone with a standard free-to-air satellite receiver. Some services, like BBC News, will be moving from being on Europe wide footprint to the smaller footprint of Astra2D. I guess this might cause problems to anyone currently receiving these services in places like Spain and beyond. Apparently the work starts with the service moves of BBC News, BBC Parliament & BBC Alba in week beginning 19th September and be completed by 7th October. The details can be found he http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcintern...sat_astra.html Glyn |
