Strange cation on BBC HD
 

This morning on the HD Preview for several minutes got a plain caption
saying Video late and Audio Late and a sort of hammering every second in top
right hand corner.

Perhaps it's the engineers way of saying, "Help, I've locked myself in the control room".

I'm not sure what you mean by "hammering".

Oh what a pity, it would have been much more fun if it had been something
not supposed to have been shown.
I remember a few years back on the clean feed from ITN, the normal
announcement of This is the clean feed from Itn..... etc, was replaced for a
couple of days by a young lady hamming it up saying OK you naughty boys,
this is the clean feed from ITN.. and I don't want to see any slacking.
I thought it was amusing, but it was replaced, so must have been considered
unprofessional.. sigh.
