Play 9200T recordings on a FOX-HDR T2?

Just ordered a FOX-HDR T2 and wondering how best to migrate some recordings
from my 9200T.

So, if I download the recordings from the 9200T to my PC and then put them
onto a USB stick, will the FOX-HDR play them?

Could I place the recordings onto a Media Server and would the FOX-HDR be
able to see them?

Any way to put the recordings onto the FOX-HDR's own hard drive?

I could wait until the FOX-HDR arrives and try these out, but I'll bet
someone on this NG has tried already ;-).

Thanks,
Paul DS.

I just watched them on a laptop. I never bothered trying them in the HDR

OK, let's start answering my own questions....

....

This works. Use either Humax's Media eLinker or "Humax PVR9200T Media
Controller V1.05 (22nd August 2007)" by Andy Chappell to download the videos
from the 9200T. Then put them onto a USB drive, plug it into the FOX-HDR
T2, turn on and use the media feature to play back.

If you have a very large file (over 4GB) then you could try the following
(I've not needed to...).

- Format the USB drive using the FOX-HDR T2 as NTFS and then copy on the
large files using your Windows box of choice.
- Format the USB drive using the FOX-HDR T2 as ext3 and then copy the large
files using your Linux box of choice.

Will try my other options (via media player from a PC, upload onto FOX-HDR
T2) when I get time.

OK, second set of testing and results...

Any way to put the recordings onto the FOX-HDR's own hard drive?

Absolutely. Just use the Opt+ button to select copy and copy them from the
USB stick onto the hard drive. They then play fine from there.
