Google have not deleted their archive - only not updated it since the second. So anything prior to then you can still find in google, and you can still post from there. Recent stuff you will need to find from elsewhere. -- Cheers, John. /================================================== ===============\ | Internode Ltd - http://www.internode.co.uk | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | John Rumm - john(at)internode(dot)co(dot)uk | \================================================= ================/ |

So is anyone still doing this. There are a few web archives like myreader but how long they'll hang around is anyone's guess. I wonder whether any of the usenet based companies like giganews is quietly maintining an archive? |

Some details he http://thenextweb.com/google/2011/08...nyone-noticed/ I noticed! UseNet may be declining, but the number of websites each usenet message is repeated on is amazing. Several times I've google a topic, found an interesting on-line forum with useful information, only to discover that it's no such thing: it's just a web copy of a usenet discussion. Usually this isn't apparent - until you find your own worse on a site you've never visited! Cheers, David. |

Google it, find someone has exactly the same problem, find out its me! |
