Indeed, but I did Sony a slight disservice. I wonder what they mean by: This fix will improve the transition from 1080i to 1080p and back, to ensure the audio, picture and data information are not interrupted. 'Improve the transition' stops short of promising a full solution. However, they do go on to use the word 'ensure'. We'll know by tomorrow though :-) |

Should they not be working flat out to resolve this :-) Have they (Sony) not been working flat out to secure all the security breaches and temporary removal of various "essential to some" online gaming services? |

they probably meant 10 'working' days. Should they not be working flat out to resolve this :-) Even if the relevant technical team is based in Japan? Giving this priority for power over their little local difficulties?? I know Japanese service is legendary but I really don't think failure to cure audio drop-out on some sets on one BBC Freeview service calls for seppuku :) -- Robin PM may be sent to rbw0{at}hotmail{dot}com |

Probably firstly as a patch downloadable from Sony's website that you can apply via a USB stick, then hopefully an OTA broadcast on the BBC mux. Either way, I've seen nothing yet on Sony's or the DTG website. -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. www.paras.org.uk |

Either way, I've seen nothing yet on Sony's or the DTG website. I've only been a Bravia owner for 3 weeks so I've not yet experience it but I *think* Sony also push updates to at least some ranges if the TV is left connected to the 'net. -- Robin PM may be sent to rbw0{at}hotmail{dot}com |
