I use a couple of OnDigital boxes (Philips DTR6370 and 6371) to listen to
Radio 3 (because of the high data rate) but we have DSO starting on 1 June.
Will they cease working on DSO - all the info seems to say they are 2k
only? I like them because they show the channel number on a display so you
don't need a TV.

Where I live analogue goes off towards the end of the year and I think all
changes in specs. had been done prior to now.
I suggest you might be ok but give your transmitter so the experts can
confirm.

I'm on Craigkelly - I can see it from the roof.

They will stop working, mine did. Also the Pace 735 dies as well.

The change from 2k to 8k happens at DSO, not before.

Yes, as stated it will die at DSO. As far as Radio 3 reception is concerned,
that's on Mux B in pre DSO areas, so the 15th June is the exact date when you
will lose reception of that service from Craigkelly. You'll only lose the Mux
1 services initially on June 1st, BBC1, 2, 3, News 24. Everything else will go
on June 15th.

Will it cope okay with mixed 2k and 8k signals? I know some boxes
have problems with receiving both at the same time.

(Is it not DTX6370 rather than DTR6370?)

In Scotland the DTT radio will be replaced by
BBC Alba sometime after DSO, but
"The date of BBC ALBA's switch to Freeview is yet to be announced"

Good point. I suggest Geoff does NOT attempt a retune with it between June 1
and 15th, just in case, though I think it's totally 'blind' to 8k signals, so
I doubt there'd be a problem.

I'm pretty certain that story isn't quite right and that BBC Alba is only
going to be on in the evening and BBC Radio will still be there at other
times.
