Remind me, what is the purpose of the Freeview EPG or mini channels list available on all good digital receivers, or even the ability to set up a favorites list with a few clicks of the button? There should be no need to faf about. If you select, say, 101 for BBC1, you should expect that the best feed will be automatically selected. If a Freesat box can't do this simple task, then there is no advantage over a non-Freesat HD box. Freesat is a mess re. numbers. On Freeview I have BBCs 1 - 4, ITVs 1 - 4, 4 and 5 as nos. 1 - 10. Simples! The only useful bit of Freesat numbering is having 100, 200, 300 etc. ranges for genres. -- Peter. The gods will stay away whilst religions hold sway |
