ITV1 HD LOST

my ITV1 HD has gone, it was there this morning and now gone,

I live in Anglia region, so default version is meridian, EPG working, no
message on screen. if i manually tune to the other ITV1 HD regions, they
come up fine!

Any ideas?

The Meridian version of ITV 1 HD (on 11973) has moved to the BBC HD
transponder (on 10847 ).

I assume you're in the UK, and not abroad. People abroad are reporting the
loss of the Meridian HD signal. If you can receive BBC HD then you should
still be getting Meridian HD. Tried re-booting the box ?

He will need to re-scan, not reboot, although both won't hurt.

He must be using a Sky box, with a viewing card, because the Meridian ITV HD
stream has always been encrypted. You can't re-scan a Sky box !

ITV1 HD back on, although if you have a reminder set for a programme, the
box turns over to ITV4+1

some research done, and think it was due to them moving the signal to
another Transponder, obviously not updated the channel.

I assume (naively, maybe) that as DSO happens in the Anglia region between
March 30th and April 13th that ITV1HD for the Anglia region should be
available soon.

They are the dates for Sandy Heath (and its relays), the largest Tx in
the Anglia region, so yes the 'Freeview' HD mux, that includes ITV 1 HD,
will be included from April 13th at Sandy. However, I don't think it'll
be an 'Anglia' version of ITV 1 HD, it'll most probably still be the
'Meridian' variant, as ITV have only so far produced three HD versions,
London, Central West, and Meridian South. Perhaps Sandy's DSO will
provide the impetus to provide an HD version of ITV Anglia, not long to
find out now.

The other Anglia Txs, Sudbury and Tacolneston don't switch until July
and November respectively.

There's a forth ITV region I forgot about, Granada. And of course STV HD
for their region.

And what about the original ITV1-HD Granada?

Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise....
Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our
three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an
almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our four...no... Amongst our
weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear,
surprise.... I'll come in again.
