I thought I did. I made a carefully considered response to your statement
about downconverted SD allegedly having a different colour quality from HD. I
didn't respond to everything you said because I'm not interested in
everything you say and have other things to do with my life, but I had an
opinion and some relevant experience of one of the points you made, and
responded to that. I made no points whatsoever about you.


Ah, well since you admit to not having bothered to pay full attention to what I
was saying, you shouldn't then act surprised when I find your responses
inappropriate and lacking.
It's a simple matter of politeness, when conversing with others, to actually
give them your full attention.

Here it is again:
Not that I should need to spell it out, but the obvious issue is that your
downconverted SD picture, coming straight from a downconvertor, won't have gone
through anything like the level of degredation which plagues a typical low
bitrate DVB MPEG2 video stream -- and yes this can include substantial reduction
of colour information.
