DECT phone plugged into same extension as Box was causing it. I lose about half a dozen channels (some are intermittent) with a Philips DECT phone plugged into a wall socket, even on the opposite side of the room from a Freesat (or Sky) receiver, only switching off the power rectifies the problem, which can be a bit of a nuisance to say the very least. |

It doesn't say much for the quality of sceening on the co-ax flylead between the socket & the set. I have a DECT phone within 6 inches of my computer's USB Freeview dongle - never had any problems -- From KT24 Using a RISC OS computer running v5.16 |

Also I suspect the OPs problem wasn't so much the DECT base and the satellite receiver sharing the same phone socket, rather it was DECT antenna being close to the satellite IF cable or the tuner. -- Graham. %Profound_observation% |
