I went for a ride and had 2 punctures - far more 'interesting' than watching bozos in boxen polluting the planet. Saw 4 hares and a fox and some flowers not seen on verges and, being off road some of the time (looking for flat tyres it would seem), v. little traffic. Especially for those still on analogue, this greatly reduces the choice for those not wanting to watch football. Also does the live coverage have to last 3½ hours - the players must have a lot of stamina for the game to last anything like that long. |

It only reduces the choice by 20%. It is at times like these that people should get out the DVD or media player. Those who want choice should have got a satellite dish by now [ except where a satellite dish cannot be installed due to location, local regulations etc] Also does the live coverage have to last 3½ hours - the players must have a lot of stamina for the game to last anything like that long. Why do cricket matches have to last several days? ;) |

You know soon, computer generated graphics will mean you can drive in your
own GP on your own system, and no drivers will ever be needed. You can design your own circuit and pit yourself against the best drivers of history.
