They are filling in time until Cameron goes to the Palace to be

Cameron will become PM before any deal has been done with the Lib Dems.

Not at all. But I am a Holby fan and that new show that started last week,
Luther, is well worth a second look.

What I object to is the complete meaningless drivel that reporters and news
staff drag out inbetween the important bits, ie, "Well, here we are, waiting
for Gordon Brown to come out of the front door and get into his car." WHY???
It's a bloke, getting into a car!!! I've just seen my next-door neighbour
doing the same thing.

Dimbleby even said something along the lines (can't remember the exact
words) of, "Interesting to note how the guards saluted Mr. Brown as his car
passed, even though he is no longer the Prime Minister." INTERESTING???

AARRGGHH!!!!!!

And they completely messed up the EPG. Just before the special programme
ended the freeview EPG was showing 19:00-20:50 News Special, 20:30-21:00
Holby, 20:50-21:20 Eastenders, 21:00-22:00 Luther.

BBC3 EPG is still showing Eastenders at 22:00-22:30 as usual despite the
episode on BBC1 being postponed until tomorrow. So, I wonder if it will
be a case of BBC3 viewers seeing it first or whether there will be a
changed of schedule 'at the last minute'

I wonder if someone was doing a spot of long-term strategic thinking. By
tipping the balance of power in Cameron's favour, the libs get a weaker
position in the new govt. However their MPs are still committed to it but
become essentially invisible members of a conservative administration.
Come the next election their lack of influence means there will be fewer
people willing to vote for them as they become synonyous with conservatism.
It also means that in the run-up to the next election any leaders
debate couldn't really be held between 3 leaders, as 2 of them are part
of the same government.
Hmmm.

It seems to me that the LDs are damned if they do and damned if they
don't. If they didn't form some kind of agreement with the Tories
they would be critised for putting party interests before the country.
A deal with Labour was always a non-starter. I haven't seen the
details yet but they have got concessions from the Tories on some key
policy areas. If we do ever get any form of PR then political parties
are going to have to work together more so this is good practice ;-)

It also means that in the run-up to the next election any leaders
debate couldn't really be held between 3 leaders, as 2 of them are part

Hmmm.

That's a tricky one.

It looks like labour are already taking the opportunity to score
points by trying to break up the alliance. A very selfish move IMHO.

The outcome reminds me of the old travelling circus sideshow of "The Lion

co-existing peacefully in a cage. Flocks of people doubtless paid money to
see such a remarkable sight... and the money was useful to ensure that a
good supply of fresh lambs were available. 8-]

Alas, I suspect that in this case they'll run out of lambs - or the lambs
