"Dear Santa,

Can I have a Technisat HDFS High Definition Digital Satellite / Freesat
Receiver for Xmas please? I've been such a good boy for the whole year,
and have eaten every Brussel Sprout on my plate last night...

Exactly how many brussel sprouts were on your plate last night ?

As a teenager I spent some time trying to work out how many farts one
sprout could yield.

Well, say I wanted to buy a

Technisat HDFS High Definition Digital Satellite / Freesat Receiver

Could I ask for one on here ? Hypothetically of course.

You never know your luck.

Three years ago when I was looking for some PC part for which I was having
difficulty purchasing someone read my post and very kindly sent me one for
free!

I once offered a radio tuner for free. Someone e-mailed me several
times for more details then eventually did not get back to me when I
asked for his address to post it. Presumably he was suspicious.

Before anyone asks, I gave it to the Debra shop.
