I'd be in favour of greater efficiency for better programming but not because of pressure from commercial organisations. The whole point of the BBC is to maintain the standards of the commercial organisations and offer people a real choice. To save th3 BBC one has two problems. OK save them from some cuts, but

drugs began to take hold. I remember " saying something like: Why should we save an organisation that has an intrinsic left wing liberal bias? Same old song. No government is happy with the BBC, which is as it should be. |
