Another BBC2 local opt on analogue
I know Bill loves these analogue-only opt-outs.
Earlier today BBC2 analogue on Winter Hill and Emley Moor opted out from "BBC2 England" and carried "The Super League Show", followed by a generic natural history fill-in program (because the scheduled program on "BBC2 England" was 100 minutes long). Both were shown from 4:3 sources, with faux-14:9 black bars added from a masking box (which Paul Ratface claimed was no longer in the transmission chain). |

Not being a viewer of the show, I was under the mistaken impression from various comments in the past that it was primarily broadcast on BBC-2. So there must have been something of national importance on BBC-1 to have forced it to be moved to BBC-2 analog only today? |

In fact, all TV sport bores me to death. So there must have been something of national importance on BBC-1 to have forced it to be moved to BBC-2 analog only today? BBC1 had racing cars. |
