A pack of lies, my downloading was a fraction of that, it think in my case
it was more to do with local bandwidth capabilities, i was in a small town
that had quickly grown from a village

Ah, ok, sounds like they need to resegment your network.

I generally get the speeds they claim and it's pretty reliable. They do
seem quite proactive round here and have resegmented the network several
times over the years.

When I was on VM Cable 10Meg I got 10Meg. Always.
Now i'm on O2 8Meg I get 8Meg. Sometimes. :)

service when their hanging off a very long lump of old ally or copper
wire;!..
