If tomorrow the Government suddenly did something that made your car obsolete and unable to run, would you want them to cover the cost of a replacement? Huh. The government hasn't caused any of my televisions to become obsolete and unable to run. They run just fine. Just as good as they did a year ago. Two years ago. In fact, all of my televisions work BETTER than they did two years ago, with the same indoor antennas I used before. No more snow. No more ghosts. No more changing the antenna position for each station. No more trying in vain when the wind blows to get any kind of watchable picture on the FOX and MyNetwork stations. No more wishing I could watch the one CW program I like, because now I can watch it, perfectly. Thank you, US Government. Had you not mandated the change to digital, it would have taken me a lot longer to see the light. I would have spent years thinking my analog stuff was working "just fine." TJ Liar. TMT |

In my world, politics has little to do with the functionality of digital TV. In his, it has everything to do with it. So sad. TJ |
