Not too far from a place called Little Lever.
When I was young I wondered why the internationally
known pop-star who sang "The Locomotion" would
name herself after a small place near Bolton ;-)

Ahh, childhood misapprehensions. In infant assembly we sung 'There is a
green hill far away.' The headmistress had the absurd name of Miss
Greenhouse and I assumed we were singing a song that would somehow
magically make her 'far away' -- which I saw as being a common good. Later
we should have chanted "Hallowed be thy name . . " but since the Prime
Minister was Harold MacMillan we always said "Harold be thy name . . ". It
seemed reasonable to pray to such an important man. (Many years after this
I was to work for Mr MacMillan's nephew, who told me amusing stories about
him. In return I told him how we would pray to his uncle, which bemused
him.)

I can't remember if this was infants or junior, but the teacher was reading
a story aloud to us, and one of one characters was a "Would-Be Thief"
I had never encountered this concept before, I could only imagine
this forest inhabiting insect with Magpie like tendencies

In French we also have J'ai vu (I saw.....) which is close to 'ja vu'

hmmmmm... "I have seen" would be a closer translation.
