How about a signed channel? That way, you keep people that need signed
channels happy, by not limiting content to the middle of the night and
you keep other people happy by not spoiling programmes with a signer in
the corner.

No. There is nowehere near enough good material for the existing number
of channels.

I occasionally find a use for a +1 channel when recording using a twin tuner
PVR. Sometimes there are three programmes I want to record at the same time.
If one is repeated on a +1 channel - problem solved.

Nothing. Increase the bitrate of the worthwhile channels.

But they could do that to more effect by getting rid of the sports
channels. At least the +1 services have some use.

+24. If you happen to miss/forget a programme, you will usually find that
you've missed it by more than an hour. But put it on the same time of day,
exactly 24 hours later, and there's a good chance you'll remember to watch.

Wonder if there is some contractual thing - one having to be paid for as a
repeat while the +1 comes under a cheaper rule?
