sky tv - remind me

If your not subscribed to sky - its pointless .

The (remind me) red dot thingy pops up on sky three when theres a promo
plug for a program on e.g. sky one .

But if you only have sky freesat - then its rather pointless .

As the sky box tell if you are subscribed to sky or not - then how hard
can it be to stop the (remind me) thingy from appearing on sky freesat .

You're still watching TV "off air"!

ROFL with no disrespect intended.

Do you have any comment on the actual issue - or do you just like to
tell people they are whinging psychotic ph*ckers ? .

Two questions.
To which, two answers : -

a) - For you, no.

b) - Only when they ARE whinging, psychotic ph*ckers.

Next.

With Sky remote go to:

Services/System Setup/Picture Settings. Ensure 'On-screen icon timeout'
is set to ON

The red dot will then automatically disappear after 30 seconds.

But then come back again after every ad break, or before every ad
break if you;re watching Dave or Gold or whatever...

I was actually going to say how cool it is the BBC are now using the
green button when showing their promos. Last night I was able to set
the box for Rab Nesbitt on Dec 23rd thanks to the prompt

The only way to get rid of crap like that is to pause the programme as
soon as it starts and watch it a few seconds behind broadcast.
