I need one for a task which will only be used for radio. Any which tell
you which radio station they're on without an on screen display? Or one
you can assign a number to rather than it just displaying the actual
channel number? And of course the best possible quality of audio. ;-)

I use an old Philips OnDigital box to listen to radio only. It shows the
channel number. You might get one on eBay - I have four.

You'll find plenty on ebay, as DSO sweeps the UK for the next four years and
makes them obsolete with their lack of 8k support.
Go to the Selkirk area and you'll probably find them used as door stops.

Well I would have said netgem, but the snag with that box apart from it not
being made now is that the channel ida wwere a lady reading them and when
the checksums on the ids change it just says unknown channel very helpfully.
If we could have Car sick FM on there I think a lot of people never would
need to buy a radio for the home any more.
