Tenant had a card for his leccy but he lost it, or it stopped working, or
something. Electric Board said he had to have a different type of meter. Somehow he ended up with no power for a week. His heating is electric. He plugged an extension into the socket on the landing so he could run an electric fire. Another tenant reported him. The management company came out and turned off the power to the landing. So, no landing lights and no TV amplifier. The latter served three blocks. Many tenants reported the lack of TV reception. I couldn't get into the meter room because the council had put a new lock on it. So, they still have no telly. What will tomorrow bring? Bill |
