Hughes HTL-HD Receiver
Looking for a great DTV/OTA HD receiver? I just bought two of the Hughes
HTL-HD receivers for the price of one Sony. Circuit City and Best Buy have this system on sale for $299.99. Easy to install and operate. HBO 509 looks great, not to mention the beautiful HD pics on ABC, CBS and NBC. |
Circuitcity actually is doing it for $249. Outstanding price on a great
receiver. "Larry in Ga" wrote in message ... Looking for a great DTV/OTA HD receiver? I just bought two of the Hughes HTL-HD receivers for the price of one Sony. You do have to commit to D* for one year or shell out another $150 in
penalty to D*. In RI Cox cable is so bad it's a no brainier. "darius" wrote in message ... "Mark Garceau" wrote in news:[email protected] Circuitcity actually is doing it for $249. I paid 299.99 apiece for two systems. I checked Circuit City's website and
a previous poster is correct, they dropped the price again to 249.99. I called Circuit City and they gave me the same price plus 10 percent. What a deal, I wound up paying 241 apiece... less that the price of one receiver two weeks ago. Only problem with watching the HD local OTA channels and DTV HBOH is that when you go back to the regular channels, you feel like something is wrong with the picture. Makes you wish that everything was HD. "Mark Garceau" wrote in message news:[email protected] You do have to commit to D* for one year or shell out another $150 in penalty to D*. It's easy enough to get 1 channel w/o the signal meter; but nearly impossible to get all channels I want w/o it. |
