Sound on BBC1
What has happened to the sound on BBC1. The stereo sound on Merlin and
Strictly Come Dancing is virtually non-existent and the clapping after all the performances sounds like its being done underwather. Has the bitrate been reduced and are they using joint stereo? |
Sound on BBC1 and freeview talk sport
Talking of sound, listened to talk sport on freeview lately? Sounds like the
feed is from a cheap radio on medium wave turned up into clipping and its batteries are going down. Its very loud but distorted as hell. Funny you should say that, I accidentally stepped back from BBC 1 last night, and selected TalkSport, you're right, sounds every bit as good as its AM version as heard Friday/Sat nights in local mini cabs. -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. |

Mind you, they did have a fire on Friday morning, so that might be a factor:- http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008...ommercialradio -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. |
