New aerial install on new flats (pic)
"Marky P" wrote in message ... I'm at work all week, so it'll probably next weekend when I get the chance to take another photo. Ha! I spotted a prime candidate for my DIY section on Wednesday, but I couldn't stop because the road is a clearway. On Thursday I went a different route to avaid some roadworks (I've been in Lincoln all week) so I didn't get a chance. On Friday I parked 250 metres away and legged it to the house, but the damned aerial had falled a bit further and was not visible! Bill |

I've a charger in the van so no problems there. I know the battery life with use of bluetooth and WLAN is only about a day and a half. But I like the phone and a good workhorse for business with the use of the 7" screen and bluetooth keyboard I've in the van too. Glenn... I've got an N95 8GB but haven't got a clue how to use the thing really. I just use it for internet and calls. Whats the screen & bluetooth used for in the van? I know it's quite a powerful phone but just haven't had the time to work out how to use it properly. |

And the bluetooth keyboard makes emailing far easier. In reality, when things where quieter over the july holidays, I had too much time on my hands. Glenn... |

Bill Don't you just hate it when the installations are too bad to stay up long enough to photograph! :-) Marky P. |

Mister Marky Sahib, The wisdom of the ages is at my disposal through transcendental meditation and I must tell you that I have received a message for you. The product No More Nails should be treated as a Class A substance. Use it at your peril. It is OK if you dry it and smoke it but do not attempt to use it to fix up aerials on walls. Saw this today... http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b339/M4rkyP1/019.jpg It's a new block of flats in Bedford town centre, and that is the communal aerial installation. Looks pretty **** poor to me. As does the quality of the pic, but I only had my phone with me :-) Could you take your proper camera with you on Monday? Bill I'm at work all week, so it'll probably next weekend when I get the chance to take another photo. Marky P. Where about's in Bedford Marky? I'm out and about in town today. There is a odd one near the Pheasant pub that confuses me, a vertically polarised contract style yagi side on to Sandy. I suspected for a long time it maybe some form of private link. -- Bill |

Foster Hill Road, down towards The Broadway. The flats are built where Harrison's & Rowley's used to be. On Saturdays, I park up in Bedford Park & walk down that way to see my mate who lives in a flat above The Angel night club in The Broadway. There is also two 1p coins glued to the pavement on that road too. Marky P. |
