Echostar T-101 FTA
We have a 3 year old Echostar T-101 FTA which works perfectly.
However, I've just dug another Echostar T-101 FTA out of a drawer and carried out a re-tune as it was last used elsewhere and it has found all the channels, but allocated nothing to positions 1-4. Five is on position 5 and BBC4 is at 9. BBC1 is up on 8XX, likewise BBC2, BBC3, ITV1 and CH4. They are not in any kind of logical sequence. There appears to be no option for manually allocating positions back to 1,2,3,4. Is this as a result of the current NIT shenanigans, and if I have to re-tune the other Echostar will this happen there too? Cheers. |

Looks as if you need to contact Trading Stds Doctor ;-) Hi Mark, Thanks for the pointer. I'd not seen any reference to Echostar being affected. I think I'll email them. As for Trading Standards, hum.............consumer rights is a bit off topic for me, but I know several points of reference :-) I bought it from Tesco, so first port of call there I think after ascertaining from Echostar that they are the problem. Cheers D |
