I returned the speakers but why would a pair of speakers have a mono
plug ? The jack is a mono 3.55 mm SD |

thanks for the images, the plug on two different pair of speakers I've
seen would be the largest (on right end) of the four choices. ( to the best of my memory ) Is there any connection cable that can take the mono signal and feed it into the speaker plug so that it will go thru both speakers ? SD |

the speakers had a stereo plug, problem was with the mono tv jack.Anyway
thanks to everyone who contributed. Problem was solved by the use of a mono to stereo plug for the tv ; the two speakers and sub woofer ( Altec Lansing $50 at Target ) sound great tho the sound is mono. Another cable and two sets of adaptors ( to allow to go from RCA plugs to 1/8 inch stereo plug) will allow stereo sound from PS2, DVD player, and probably the vcrs as they have RCA audio out jacks on the back .
