New Brit. Satelite
I heard something on the radio about a new British satellite with a
footprint covering the whole of the British Isles. I think it was up and running and with limit channels which were to be extended in the Autumn. I have tried Google but to no avail. Does anyone know where there is more info? -- Dystopia |

I can imagine this being a block stopping people migrating from Analog and from Digital (terrestial / Sky) respectively; never mind the lack of appropriate regional coverage as Bill says. doug -- http://www.kingqueen.org.uk remove .lartsspammers to reply |

Freesat comes from the same sats as Sky - indeed it is the same signals, but the Freesat box responds to a different EPG. five/five US/fiver/dave/Film4 are all still broadcast through Sky and as as such encrypted. They should become FTA later this year or early next. -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |
