You'd never guess today is a Bank Holiday

Looking at the programme line-ups on BBC and ITV today, you'd never guess
that today is supposed to be a Bank Holiday. It's exactly the same
programmes at the same times as last week and the week before.

Is it a Bank Holiday or am I imagining it?

That's the problem with having so many channels on digital TV - the
endless repeats.

It's not a problem, the ability sometimes to find a programme which has
inadvertently been missed is a benefit.

I think the banks are the only people not open for business.

You go out and buy your plastic chicken coup at B/Q like everyone else!

Good.
I like that.
Save us having the same films as last Bank Holiday and the one before etc.

What special TV programmes should we have for the May Day holiday?
Something on the theme of 'Workers of the World Unite'? Or an outside
broadcast of a maypole and morris dancing competition?
