Customer Service maketh a Supplier
 
They say you cant judge a Supplier until you have need to use their Customer
Service..............

how right this is.................

when I eventually get my pixel problem sorted with the supplier I'll let you
know who to steer clear of.................

ordering a tv online............the company I used,
1. were very quick to deliver the tv.....arrived next day as stated.
2. were very slow (3 days) to reply to my questions on a pixel fault and the
return policy. I sent two emails in first 3 days and they still did not
reply until three days after that.
3. were not very co-operative re pixel error...........they told me to
contact manufacturer as it was their policy. 13 pixels were quoted as
acceptable but not a fault.
4. only started to react after I sent 3 documents (email, fax and recorded
post) restating the pixel fault and that I had discussed it with trading
standards. Also calling the 7 day return policy.
5. never replied to any of the correspondence at 4, I still had to phone CS
to resolve.
6. collected faulty tv very quickly but I had to chase its replacement.
although they promised it by a certain time I am sure if I had not chased I
would still be waiting.
7. would not guarantee morning or afternoon delivery to my home but arranged
next day delivery to my place of work.

CS person was not that friendly, just kept saying we are SORRY..........one
can hear to much of that word and I am sure they only use it to make you
feel guilty if you want to have a bit of a rant.

In all not as pleasant a transaction as I would have liked.
