Banana plugs

If you're like me and have been too cheap to spend $6 a pair on banana
plugs, monoprice.com has a nice copper plug at $1.76 a pair. They
get a little cheaper if you buy more than 1 pair. Product ID is 2801.
These are solder type but they have a pdf showing how to use them
without solder. I followed their instructions and they work just
great.

Worth mentioning is that Mouser still has no minimum order for stocked
items.

Digikey is another nice outfit to do business with for small orders,
although they add a $5 "handling charge" for orders of under $25 (but
when was the last time you bought less than $25 of anything?).
