Best £10 indoor aerial for Freeview?

OK, here's the situation:

I live in Camberwell, London, 5.1 miles from Crystal Palace transmitting
station (according to Google Maps)

I don't know whether I'm in a strong or weak signal area (given
potential proximity to tall buildings inbetween etc)

I need an indoor aerial for a small 14 inch bedroom TV and Woolworths
WorthIt! Freeview box in my rented house. No aerial exists on the roof
and we are not having one installed.

The round coat hanger type aerial on the TV actually does quite well.
It picks up all the MUXes but I get breakup on some MUXes.

I'm wondring what is available for £10 that will give a good picture.

Shopping at Argos makes things 10x easier, so recommendations from there
are welcome.

I doubt you'll need an amplifier, good resistance to ghosting you will need.
The Telecam may be okay - the Silver Sensor by Antiference is very good for
an indoor aerial.

Your break up is probably due to reflections rather than low signal by the
sound of it, so anything which can reject these is going to be better,
assuming no overload of any active part, ie an amplifier in the aerial.

I imagine the most annoying thing is going to be when you clean, and move
the aerial and then spend days trying to get the right position again!

The Telecam TCE2000 has performed well in technical tests in strong signal
areas:

These unscientific "designer aerials" are probably about as much use as an
amplified piece of wet string!

I remember an advert in a Sunday paper for an inside aerial that
looked like a small satellite dish with 2 antenna added and one of the
discriptions went ' you pay no satellite fees because you dont receive
satellite' !!

There's no need to clean it. Aerials work just as well when they're dirty.
