5 & 4 star disk count
 

I'd like to get a a High Def player but I still can't justify it based on
the number of good titles released.

I just did my semi-annual count:

5* disks: 20 BluRay - 22 HD-DVD
4* disks: 49 BluRay - 39 HD-DVD

And most of those are new movies that I've seen on HD channels. No one
seems interested in putting out the back catalog, and most of the new titles
are still major releases. B-movies, genera films, and indies don't seem to
be coming out to often yet.
