What bacame newcastle breweries started offin Gateshead, and (the last I
heard) were brewing again in Gateshead (following the closure of the Tyne
Brewery) At the former chemical plant of Federation Brewery (never the
same after moving to the 'chemical plant'!)

but an anyone from Gateshead will tell "It's NOT Newcastle".

Ha - ageism strikes again.

Used to be known as Mild and Bitter in Brum as they always said you
couldn't drink either alone!
