Timer start of the DVR

Well, I concocted a little 2 relay gadget so that I can start the PC
with a timer. I don't like leaving computers on 24/7 and sometimes
forget to turn it on Friday morning before I go to work. It now self-
starts at noon on Fridays (to record the show at 12:30) and 7:30P M-
TH. The timer actually generates a 'trigger' at 7:30P Friday but the
relays are set up so that if the computer is already on, it disables
the remote 'start' command. No wiring into the PC, just loop the soft
power cable through the circuit board and grab 12 volts from a drive
plug to activate the 'disable external' relay. The external digital
timer is an Intermatic DT27 which is pretty slick - especially for
$20.
