There are definitely TV's sold that have PIP with only 1 tuner. Someone
posted earlier about the Samsung 4069.

The other input could be from cable, satellite, DVD, etc. Most VCR's have a
tuner that can be used for this, but of course it is an analog signal.

PIP means the ability to display two sources on the same screen.
It doesn't mean that the television has two tuners.

The Walmart Emerson HDTV I bought last xmas has NTSC and ATSC tuners
built in and it has PIP. Never use PIP so can't comment on it.

My TV only has an analog PIP, which renders the PIP kinda obsolete.
Then again, I'm more DVR dependent anyways.
