Brilliant!

I'm sure I have kept some minutes of a timed recording which was set to
catch the old Russian Ostankino breakfast tv. Due to some technical
hitch we were left with what looks like a ZX81 type screen with
selections for what I can only gather to be starting the tv station off
with.

In the recording we can see someone typing in a command in Russian and
them getting an error message.

Is there anywhere that this stuff is archived on a website?

Richard.

However, as always must be present in the game of pointing out flaws,
the windowscrash website itself has had a bit of a flaw on the home
page. Whoops, someone better update the Gallery Software ...

problem?

Not once :O) All the stuff at the bottom of the screen disappeared
eventually along with the microsoft report thing so i guess eventually
someone may have mentioned that.

Did you see a mouse pointer come on-screen to click the 'Ok' button...?

nah, now that would have been class. It just dropped the whole section
at the bottom of the screen.

I assume from the follow-up that this was a Windows error message then?

I've often heard dings etc from falling over Windows on some of these
radio
stations which use computers for everything.

Brian

Sorry brian. Yes, it was a windows message, the one you get after a
crash, asking you to report the incident. I think it was something to
do with the webcam type footage they have at the base of the screen,
two boxes in which I guess callers can see who they're talking t, only
one was a still image, so i would assume that was the one which
crashed. it mentioned 'client.exe'

Client.exe could be the Digiguide TV listings software as it uses that
filename.
