What does the word "Mondial" mean
as in the M in DRM?
Apart from an Italian motorbike I can find no definition.

According to:
http://www.google.com/translate_t?langpair=it|en

MondialE is Italian for 'World'

Which makes some sort of sense, I guess...

.... Or French for 'World' ...

Or even (as Tim pointed out just as I made my first post on the subject)
French for WorldWIDE... :-/

OK I will buy that, but why didn't they put the rest of
it in French too, then I suppose it would have to be
RDM.
Maybe Sandial would be better...
....because digital radios tend not to have them.
Dials I mean.
OK, I'll get me coat.

That's mondiale, with an e.

Worldwide.

French, innit.

Strange, I'm off to http://www.mondialduski.com/ in just over a week's time
and there's no 'e' on the end in their spelling.

James...

It's a gender issue.

There's only one world: it's either a girl or a boy.
