Power up loop

My older series 2 single tuner also received the Fall update recently. Last night when I wanted to watch TV, it had the message, "Preparing for new update" and it said it may take an hour or more. So, I watched TV in another room and came back in about 2 hours. Still had the message. So, I unplugged the TIVO and plugged it back in. Fortunately, it came right back up, with the new software, so I guess I'm only moderately unhappy. I checked my recording history and found it had been like this for quite a while since I missed several of my season passes. Larry Hazel |
