Does anyone have experience w/ Dell TV tuner for laptop
I'm about to buy a new laptop and I'm considering getting a Dell w/ a
TV tuner and extra disk space for recording TV programs. I get all my TV OTA and I receive HDTV fine. I assume it comes w/ a coax connection. Comments? |

I record (OTA only) with a laptop (Acer aspire 5672WLMi) Core Duo T2300, 2gig ram, 120 gig HD, ATI X1400 with 512M and it takes 70% of my CPUs using the Pinnacle Studio USB HDTV stick. How will to handle play back? I have a DVI on the laptop that will plug into my HDMI on the HDTV. I also have a 60gig USB hard drive to move movies too if needed. Make sure your DELL is up to it! I also just got a Panasonic DVD Recorder with an ATSC tuner (DMR-EZ47K). I have been using it to record DTV however it is NOT HD of course. I still use the laptop if I want HD. |
