Enhanced Wishlists (TiVo S3 Fall Update) issue
 

The TiVo S3 Fall update has an enhanced wishlist search capability.

I can now record University of Kentucky football games but exclude those for
Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Kentucky State using

Title keyword: Kentucky . -Eastern . -Western . -State
Category: Sports / Football.

and find Men's but not Women's college basketball games using

Title keyword: College Basketball . -Womens
Category: Sports / Basketball.

As previously, I can find 2006 movies with

Keyword: 2006
Category: Movies.

But for some reason I can't find pilot episodes for this fall season using

Keyword: 2007
Title keyword: Pilot.

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish the last task or even explain why the
above might not work properly?

Almost all shows that I've seen have "Pilot" in the episode title for the
first episode of the first season of the show.

Title keyword: Pilot

(without Keyword: 2007) works as I expect, but it lists pilot episodes even
for shows that debuted in previous years. I want to list only shows that are
*new* for this year.

I already have wishlists for all *returning* shows that I'm interested in,
so "Season Premiere" isn't what I want either.

Since

Keyword: 2007
Category: Movies

lists all 2007 movies, and

Title keyword: Pilot

lists all pilot episodes, it seems reasonable to assume that

Keyword: 2007
Title keyword: Pilot

should list all 2007 pilot episodes. But it doesn't find anything even
though it seems it should. For example, take a look at "Aliens in America"
and "Life is Wild."

If you don't have the Enhanced Wishlist feature, you can't try the above
(unless there's a hack) since your Keyword and Title wishlists are mutually
exclusive. It seems to me that a "Pilot 2007" (without the quotes) keyword
wishlist should also work, but it doesn't.

Looks like a TiVo bug to me.

Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas?

Well that's interesting and that's definitely what I want! But I don't seem
to have the Show Types category on either my S3 or my Sony S1 TiVo. I can't
find it on TiVo Central either.

On my S3 (Software version: 9.1-01-2-648) my available categories are All
programs, HD, Movies, Sports, Kids, Action Adventure, Arts, Comedy, Daytime,
Documentary, Drama, Education, Interests, Mystery and Suspense, News and
Business, Science and Nature, Sci-Fi and Fantasy and Talk Shows.

On my Sony S1 (Software version: 3.0-01-1-010) the choices under Category
Only Wishlist are identical except that it doesn't have All programs or HD.

Does anyone with an S3 have a Show Types category? If so, what software
release? Do I have to be networked to get it? Is it part of an optional
feature?
